God Is Calling, But Who Will Answer?
Rev. Martin Young Jan 21, 2003

Dear Saints of God:

My heart continues to grieve over the fact that I see so many
ministers of God with very powerful anointed ministries struggling so
hard to raise the finances to go forth and do the work that God has
called them to do. The mere mention of needing to raise funds to help
finance ones ministry is immediate met with a plethora of letters
scolding them for always talking about money! Lets face it church,
to do the work of ministry it must be ran efficiently like a
business. One cannot run a business without the finances to meet the
everyday needs of that business, and to purchase the supplies to be
able to provide the services to people on a daily basis.

I have heard it said a thousand times, Where God leads, He provides!
And how does God provide, by dropping the money out of heaven? No! He
speaks to the hearts of His people to give liberally to whomever He
tells them too. To the vast majority of people across this country in
whom God has been speaking to them to help, many refuse to do so
because they feel that their money will be misused in one way or
another. Because of this, the financial streams that once flowed into
small ministries have all but dried up! The Church of Jesus Christ
needs the men and women that God has called, gifted, anointed and
wants desperately to go forth at this time, but, He is having a very
difficult time getting His people in whom He has placed ample
resources to release them to these ministers. Everyone is expecting
someone else to do something, and I am here to witness to you, the
needs of these ministries ARE NOT getting met! And these ministers
remain on the sidelines crying out to God for support, while those who
have it refuse to release it! How this must anger God to no end! The
Scriptures say:

Gal 6:9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we
shall reap, if we faint not. Gal 6:10 As we have therefore
opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are
of the household of faith.

Mat 10:40 "Anyone who welcomes you is welcoming me, and anyone who
welcomes me is welcoming the Father who sent me. Mat 10:41 If you
welcome a prophet as one who speaks for God, you will receive the same
reward a prophet gets. And if you welcome good and godly people
because of their godliness, you will be given a reward like theirs.
Mat 10:42 And if you give even a cup of cold water to one of the least
of my followers, you will surely be rewarded."

Not all ministers are greedy money hungry people. God has His people
in whom He has kept on the backside of the desert, breaking and
remolding them, refining their lives and characters and equipping them
to do the work of ministry for such a time as this. God has also
prepared His people through whom He has placed ample resources in
their hands to help these men and women through their gift of giving
and helps ministries. The Word says:

The gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable What God has
called each of us in the Body of Christ to do, we will one day stand
before Him and have to give an answer as to how well we did or didnt
do our jobs. It will be a terrible thing to stand before God Almighty
and millions of heavenly angels and have to say, Lord, I didnt give
your people the funds that they needed because I was afraid that they
wouldnt use them properly! And then hear Him say, You wicked and
perverse servant, depart from Me, I never knew you!

If you dont agree with this message, then just delete it and forget
it! But, if the Spirit of the Lord grabs you and says, This man is
telling you the truth, and I want you to release the funds I have
placed in your hand to help them, NOW! Then you need to get on your
knees and ask God what amount of money He would have you give, and to
whatever minister or ministry that He has been telling you to help
finance and do it TODAY! "One times" offerings do help some. But, as
we are daily dependent on God to keep "resupplying" us with the things
we needs, we also need to prayerfully consider giving to God's
ministers on a regular monthly basis. This is the only way that many
of them will be able to go full time into the work of ministry and to
be able to feed. clothe and support the needs of their own families.

Remember this, God expects you and I to support our local pastor and
church with our tithes and offering FIRST. We are also to give
liberally to whomever the Lord places in our paths and on our hearts
to give too on a regular basis. IF we do this, then we will see the
Word of God and the Work of God going forth quickly across this
country and around the world.

Please set down TODAY and write a check and send it to whomever God
tells you too. Because many many ministers are depending on YOU and I
for support.

David,

I get Rev. Young's messages whenever he has them and they are a blessing! I am so glad that you posted his work here. I often post him other places as we have had discourse concerning his writings and has given me permission to send it around the net wherever the Lord leads.

He is a very compassionate man and often find him right on with what the Spirit is saying in other communities or in other ministries' sermons. Thanks again for sharing this prophet of God's godly wisdom and teaching. ~Minister Falcon

Hi Osmfalcon,

I agree.
He really did speak prophetically on this topic.

I was surprised and very blessed that he dared to approach the subject and to do it so boldly.

That "where God guides God provides" remark really cracks me up as people use it as a reason not to help out. If everyone who said that just kept quiet and gave $1 instead of saying it, there would probably be a lot of ministries that are a lot more financially equipped to take on more tasks.

Even more I enjoy the critics who are so willing to take the time to tell you where you are coming up short in your ministry but are not willing to help with anything.

God Bless you,
David
